They’re perfectly situated high in the rolling hills of Paso Robles, offering the perfect escape from all of the noise. There’s nowhere we’d rather start our wine tasting tour than here. This winery prides itself in creating high-quality Bordeaux and Rhone wines, which are from 100% estate-grown grapes. Their wines have won an vast number of awards ranging from the 2020 Traveler’s Choice Award, TripAdvisor, to the Winery of the Year 2019, Monterey Wine Competition & Central Coast Wine Competition.

2. Tooth & Nail Winery

If you’ve ever wanted to wine and dine like royalty, you’ll want to stop at Tooth & Nail Winery. Also known as Paso Roble’s Castle, this breathtaking retreat offers a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll cross a moat of turquoise waters and can take your wine to the balcony of the castle to catch some incredible sunset views. Enjoy reds as bold, like your inner queen/king. You can even enjoy a flight of all red wines. Many are heads over heels for their Predator wine series which offers various strong, blended reds from Cabernets to Syrahs.

Not a single white wine or rose in sight at this winery! Peachy Canyon Winery is a paradise for red wine enthusiasts. Here the flights are always all reds! Their specialty is Zinfandels, and you won’t find any winery in Paso Robles that can match the quality of their Zinfandels. They also offer a few other handcrafted small-batch Rhone & Bordeaux varietals. Glass in hand, you can explore their “Old School House” tasting room, a historic Old Bethel School House circa 1886.
