With the emergence of COVID-19, we’re all reminded that sanitation for travel isn’t just nice to have, it’s a necessity. Even though we already had industry-leading cleaning practices for our luxury vehicles, we have taken them to the next level. Your travel needs for business, wine tasting and numerous celebrations need not stop because of COVID-19, and your health and safety are our top priority. We are proud to be one of the first luxury and corporate transportation companies on the Central Coast to enhance our sanitation and cleaning procedures to ensure your well-being. Here’s the level of care and sanitation you can expect from every ride from Obsidian Luxury.

1. Before Your Trip
Before the vehicle leaves our lot, it undergoes extensive cleaning. In response to COVID-19, our detailing team has increased the time they spend on every vehicle. From the floor to the mini-fridge to the ceiling, you’re guaranteed a sparkling clean and properly sanitized vehicle. However, this isn’t the only step we’re taking to ensure your safety - they continue with your driver. We’ve required that all drivers only come into work if they’re feeling 100% and meet medical compliance standards.

2. During Your Trip
As our vehicle pulls up, you will be greeted by one of our friendly and healthy drivers wearing a mask. This is both for your safety (an extra precaution) and for our driver. While you might not be able to see them smiling, you can take our word for it: we are glad to have you on board!

Once you step inside the vehicle, you will notice a sanitizing station. We have installed this for your convenience, allowing you to grab a cleaning wipe for yourself, your bags, and whatever else you may need to wipe down. (We suggest grabbing one to wipe down your phone after every trip outside of the vehicle.) You will also have unlimited access to hand sanitizer and Lysol spray to use throughout your time with us. Whether you are traveling for business, hosting a client, taking your team out or enjoying a day wine tasting, every time you leave the vehicle the driver will wipe down and sanitize high-contact areas so that they’re clean again once you re-enter. 

 4. After Your Trip
Once your trip has concluded, the wipe station, hand sanitizer, and Lysol spray will be replenished as necessary. From here, we end where we started; the vehicle is sent in for deep cleaning so it’s ready for your next booking and the process begins again.
